My Client is a relatively young, innovative business that works with a broad variety of established food traders bringing the best that street food markets have to offer. They cater for everything from office lunches to private and corporate events.
With flagship markets in Central London, my client oversees thousands of events annually and partners with some of the world’s most prominent brands to create memorable experiences.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
My client is looking to recruit a sales manager who will play a pivotal role in building the sales team from the ground up. This role will involve spearheading the outbound sales strategy. Leveraging the Sales Manager’s expertise to build and execute this strategy reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Sales Strategy
- Apply analytical skills to ensure a clear alignment between strategy, opportunities, and reporting.
- Develop best practice frameworks, driving efficiency and maximising business opportunities.
- Oversee the sales strategy and budget, setting clear targets and ensuring timely reporting.
- Work closely with the operations and events teams to foster shared learnings, drive efficiencies, and optimise resource allocation.
Business Insights and Reporting
- Identify and create reporting mechanisms to showcase the Sales team’s performance and ROI.
- Provide valuable insights into client performance, highlighting opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Implement CRM best practices and incorporate key learnings, ensuring my clients offerings continue to stand out.
Team Management & Networking
- Assist in hiring additional sales staff.
- Represent my client at exhibitions and events, managing budget, strategy, and target-setting for key networking opportunities while supporting the team’s annual goals.
Key Skills
- Bring substantial experience in a sales role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Have proficiency in all Microsoft software.
- Demonstrate an analytical mindset with a proactive attitude, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess a deep understanding of the market and competitor offerings, with a passion for selling backed by proven sales techniques.
- Thrive under pressure, maintaining a positive, solution-oriented outlook.
- Ideally, have prior experience as a Head of Sales/Business Development in a comparable hospitality company.
