About this role

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Sales & Events Manager to lead their dynamic team at a vibrant central London hotel. With a variety of meeting spaces, you’ll oversee the Meetings & Events department, drive revenue, and maintain strong client relationships. You will manage a team and ensure the smooth delivery of events, from initial enquiry to final execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Develop strategies to maximise conference and event revenue
  • Manage bookings and optimise meeting space utilisation
  • Conduct clients show rounds and handle enquiries efficiently
  • Ensure events run smoothly, meeting client expectations
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members
  • Collaborate with sales, F&B, and revenue teams to maximise business
About You
  • Proven experience in event management, ideally in a hotel or venue
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience with OPERA Cloud and Delphi systems (desirable)
