A high-end Central London restaurant is seeking a Head Chef to lead the culinary team, working closely with the General Manager. As Head Chef, you’ll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, ensuring the exceptional standards and helping to maintain a fantastic reputation.
Ideally the successful candidate would start in January.
You’ll work with the best quality seasonal ingredients to create a modern British/European menu, with an emphasis on food and wine pairing.
The restaurant seats 50 covers, as well as 3 Private Dining and events spaces. It is currently open 7 for lunch and dinner Mon-Fri, Sat (dinner only) and Sunday (lunch only).
Availability to work 48 hours per week, mixture of shifts
Previous experience as a Head Chef within high quality restaurants/hotels and sound knowledge of British/European cuisine.
You will need to be passionate about working with the freshest seasonal produce, utilising ingredients from select suppliers, which will be showcased through regularly changing menus and specials. An interest in world wines would also be beneficial.
An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a team of 15 Chefs.
Sound financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing, menu creation and dish specification. Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
