Director of Sales & Marketing – Luxury 5-Star Hotel

About this role

A prestigious luxury 5-star hotel located in Knightsbridge, is looking for an accomplished Director of Sales & Marketing to lead its commercial strategy—with a particular focus on expanding presence and revenue within the American market.

This is a high-impact, on-property leadership role responsible for defining and executing sales and marketing strategies, building strong relationships across key segments, and collaborating cross-functionally with departments including Revenue, PR, F&B, and Events to deliver cohesive, performance-driven results.

Please note: This is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote arrangements are not available.

About You

• You have a minimum of 10 years’ senior-level experience in sales and marketing within the luxury hospitality or lifestyle sector.

• You possess a strong understanding of the American luxury travel and corporate markets, with an existing network of influential contacts and a proven history of success.

• You’re both commercially minded and operationally effective—able to think big-picture while also executing with precision.

• You’re a confident communicator and an inspiring leader, able to motivate teams, engage stakeholders, and represent the brand with excellence.

• You are highly organised, detail-focused, and confident with CRM platforms (Opera preferred) and Microsoft Office.

• You are London-based or open to relocation, and fully committed to an on-site leadership role five days per week.
