My client is looking for a Deputy General Manager to work for a high-end gastro pub based in Surrey. As Deputy General Manager, you’ll be essential in managing day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a dynamic team. You’ll work alongside the General Manager to maintain high standards, drive business success, and provide a memorable experience for every guest.

About you:

• Previous experience in a managerial role within a fine dining restaurant or pub.
• Strong leadership with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity.
• In-depth knowledge of beverage trends, wines, and spirits.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
• Experience using a restaurant management POS system.
• Ability to manage financials, stock control, and budgets.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
